Ulundhu Thailam is a classical Siddha medicine in oil form. It is used to treat nervous disorders, nervous debility, shaking palsy, muscular pain, paralysis, and hemiplegia. It helps alleviate stiffness, and joint pain and strengthen weakened bones.

- Shivering of the head (Shaking palsy such as Sira kampam).
- Shivering of hand (Kara kampam).
- Nervous debility (Narambu thalarchi).
- Tremor (Nadukkam).
- Various types of nervous disorders (Palvidha vadha noigal).
- Arthritis & Rrheumatism (Keelvadham & Amavatham).
- Prolonged usage as a bathing oil (for a year) will eliminate Deafness (Sevidu).
- Arrest elongation of the uvula (Ulnakku valarchchi).
How to use
For external use only. The oil should be applied and massaged well over the entire body and then a hot water bath is ideal. If you apply this oil on your feet, make sure to wash it off thoroughly with water or wipe it off with a cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.
During pregnancy/nursing: If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy. If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases. It is generally considered safe to use during lactation, however, consult your doctor for the right advice.
